Job Opening: Import Sales Executive

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about international logistics and skilled in building strong client relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Import Sales Executive.


Job Description:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the import sector, focusing on LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments.

  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their needs, providing expert advice, and offering tailored logistics solutions.

  3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence in the import segment.

  4. Stay updated about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the competition.

  5. Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for import shipments, negotiate terms and pricing with clients, and follow up to secure business.

  6. Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of import shipments, address any client concerns or issues, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.

  7. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence, and provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  2. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with a focus on import shipments and LCL services.

  3. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import documentation requirements.

  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal teams.

  5. Results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, coupled with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
